On March 24, 2008, the Konawa High School track program hosted its annual Konawa Invitational Track Meet. Competitors included athletes from the following teams: Allen Mustangs, Bowlegs Bison, Crooked Oak, Dibble Demons, Graham-Weleetka, Hartshorne, Hennessey, Konawa Tigers, Lexington, Luther Lions, Mt St Mary, New Lima Falcons and Falconettes, Okemah Panthers, Prague Red Devils, Paden Pirates, Paoli Pugs, Purcell Dragons, Stratford Bulldogs, Velma-Alma, Wayne Bulldogs, Weleetka Outlaws, Wetumka Chieftains, Wewoka Tigers, and others.
